A lot of Lake District accommodation providers including hotels accept dogs. Pet friendly places to stay are spread around the region. Dogs are welcomed not only at numerous Lake District hotels but also in a wide selection of bed & breakfast guest houses. Many owners of self-catering cottages are dog friendly as well. Don't leave your pet in kennels back at home; bring him or her to the Lake District. There are, of course, hotels, self-catering units and guest houses that won't embrace your dog but a large number will.
